Playdead's Limbo became one of my favourites when I first played it a few years ago. Their more recent title Inside caught my eye, looking similar to Limbo. I picked it up on Steam and gave it a playthrough recently and was not disappointed. The game is similar to Playdead's first offering but with better production value (not to say Limbo wasn't good, Inside is just better.)

There are a lot of really creepy moments in the game, from the people chasing you down and choking you to death to the weird, long haired girl underwater. The creepiest moments come near the end of the game. You'll want to check it out for yourself though. The game is about 3-4 hours long and is worth the price on Steam.

Most of the puzzles weren't too difficult to figure out. I had to Google one of them and thought "of course" when I did. There are a lot of really cool moments and everything is fresh. The physics, animation and presentation are all top notch. I played on my laptop and there were a few moments when gameplay slowed down a bit, bogged down usually by multiple characters on screen, but it was never unplayable.

The end of the game is about 20-30 minutes of WTF, playing as what I'll call "the thing." Eventually you escape the "inside" and bask in the natural moonlight by the shore (how sweet.) It's a must see. Check it out if you get the chance.
